Irish Hiking Wrist Warmers

My first knitting project after many years!

I made these wrist warmers. Took me about 8 hours to make the pair.

I saw the wrist warmers while randomly surfing the net and deciding i wanted to make them right away...and I used old yarn i've had around for about 8 years. lol!

Here's the pattern I used.

Now i want to make another set, with less bulky yarn. Not that this yarn was that bulky. I really like this one but it's knitting in the round, which i've never done before - and which means that i'd have to buy either double-ended needles or needles with the connecting wire.

i'll be posting my travel stuff at travelpod instead.

so back to the drawing board about what exactly, if anything, this blog will be used for.

Well, here I am...

I'm thinking about how I can use this blog.

One idea is to dedicate it to cell phone photo posts.

I always thought that having cameras on cell phones was kinda pointless. The quality of photos was terrible! But, of course, things have progressed and cell phones are emerging with better and better cameras. Currently I have a 1.3 mp camera on my phone. When I eventually get a new one, the camera is going to be important. I wonder what mp quality newer cells phones are at?

Anyway, I think I am going to use this blog to post vacation photos or just random stuff, mostly with photos taken with my cell phone.

I sent a picture to activate the cell phone posting capability... Now I'm going to see if I can integrate it with this blog.
